For those of you who are discovering us for the first time, and even those of you who know us only too well, we thought you might be wondering what Amata means?

Well, it’s a name for a baby girl in French, and it means ‘dearly loved’ or ‘beloved’ from the old French ‘Amee’ which derives from the Latin ‘amatus’ meaning loved. It has a similar use and meaning in Spanish. And as a girl’s name of Indian origin, it means ‘deathlessness’.
